Mark 10:47

When they were leaving Jericho, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the roadside. When he heard it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Many told him to be silent. But Jesus stopped and called out to the man and throwing off his mantle he sprang up and came to Jesus. And Jesus said to him, “What do you want me to do for you?” And the blind man said to him, “Master, let me receive my sight.” And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed him on the way.

Offertory Statement

Our theme today is “Reach Out With Faith”. Our offerings are an opportunity that can be an act of reaching out to another. They are tangible expressions of our giving of responding and making Christ’s ministry manifest in the world. As we share our offerings, use this time to thank God for the many gifts received in life. Our hearts grow aligned with God’s when we gratefully receive and faithfully respond by living Christ’s mission.
